　　精彩的爵士音樂中，看見過重的16歲女孩漢娜，像許多青春期的女孩一樣，早熟、彆扭、有數不清的細膩心思。她雖然彈得一手好琴，但在意自己的長相，擔心學校爵士樂團的樂手選拔結果，她有兩個懂事又「正常」的姊姊，有愛捉弄她的男同學……似乎一切都和她不對盤。然而，她卻擁有少見的知性與藝術才華，以及，她還沒意識到的珍貴青春。

　　This film stars award－winning Marilou Berry as sixteen -year-old Hannah, in this sweet, ugly duckling story about the hurdles of growing up. Set in 1960’s post-war France and based on the book The First Time I Was 16, this is the debut film for French director Lorraine Levy. An excellent yet under credited film seasoned with moving Jazz music.

　　年輕女孩經常都是被鏡頭獵奇的對象，如果有一天她們拿起攝影機，會發生什麼事呢？本片是「膠捲女孩工作室」在2001到2005年間，邀請14到18歲之間的女孩實際參與媒體運作過程，所關心議題包括暴力、種族、身體意象、自我認同……等，作品呈現青春洋溢的創意與熱情。

A compilation of short films made between 2001 and 2005, “Girls Make Media That Matters” tackles the issues of violence, empowerment, race, identity, body image, and girls in the media from the perspective of teenage girls.

　　Women's passion for soccer transcends gender boundaries and challenges the traditional image of women in Zanzibar, a predominantly Muslim society. The film presents a provocative and timely portrait of WOMEN FIGHTERS, a team of strong-willed women determined to better their lives and define new identities through playing soccer.
